COURELA DO PEGOS BIO
A Courela dos Pegos, situada no Pinhal Novo e com cerca de 40 ha, já existe há várias décadas. Com zonas agrícolas e áreas de reserva ecológica, é preenchida com uma biodiversidade que usufrui das zonas de floresta, como o montado, e das baixas húmidas que possuem pegos de água. A vida selvagem é variada, como raposas, coelhos, saca-rabos, águias, cobras, texugos, doninhas, perdizes, e muitas mais, e a flora é esplendorosa. Funcionando em simbiose com a atividade humana desenvolvida, todos estes elementos têm o seu papel na sustentabilidade deste projeto.
FAMILY
Families are an essential pillar in society and we believe that such unity fosters progress. Since the beginning, the human specie was organized into tribes, building a community based on helping and contributing to a common goal. We believe that this is an essential pillar in our project and, therefore, we wish to have a close and familiar relationship with all the people who follow our work and project, from customers, workers, suppliers, visitors, friends and many more. Along this path, we want the family to become bigger and bigger and to positively influence more and more people.
2017
It was the year in which this project began, through the hands of Luís and João, two brothers who created an Organic Farm that brings tasty, healthy and sustainable products to people.
Their great desire was to build something inspiring that contributes to a better life for all of us.
THE INSPIRATION
A Courela dos Pegos é uma Quinta onde durante muitos anos, Manuel, avô de Luís e João, praticou agricultura nas suas terras. Fazendo estes parte de uma família grande, a Courela dos Pegos é símbolo e espirito de união e fraternidade.
